Having aged out of kayaking, I am selling a New Wave Mongoose kayak. It is a classic design with vertical strengtheners fore & aft. Here is an excerpt from a review: “Hands down this is one of the best creek boats ever designed. At the time, it was a short boat, by today's standards, it's a long boat. However, the major rocker starting at just behind the seat makes it so there is only about 7 feet of boat in the water, making it spin and turn like a much shorter boat. The extra length in the front gives you lots of speed when you need it. It can handle class II-IV rapids." It has the usual scratches but no dents or welds. Other features include features include a seat cushion, drain plug, grab handles, built-in adjustable hip pads, and fully adjustable footrests. Length: 8’11”, width 24.5″; 63 gallons, weight 40 lbs. Recomended paddler weight 120-230lbs.

EXTRAS include a nylon Aquaterra spray skirt, 4 flotation bags, and cockpit cover. You can pick a paddle and a helmet from several I own.
