condition: excellent
Hi,
I'm selling two very cool vintage suitcase turntables:
GE RP2021A, made in the USA in 1962. Excellent cosmetic condition as pictured, with new feet on the bottom and back. I restored the amp electronically by replacing the capacitors, and the Voice of Music player powers on and the platter spins. The unit still sticks sometimes and has to be helped along -- there's still old lube underneath that should be cleaned up with rubbing alcohol and new lubricant applied.
The other unit is an RCA 4VC42 "total stereo" record changer, made in the early '60s in the USA. Features dual, fold-out speakers. Also recapped and this one turns well, but the arm needs adjustment and it needs a new needle at least, maybe a new cart.
Your choice for 35, or take both home for 55!
I can meet in Collettsville, Lenoir, or maybe Hudson or Morganton or nearby, depending on my schedule. Message with questions and thanks for looking!
